As much as I despise the many corporate changes that has been made to Etsy, I find it difficult to believe that it is still a viable platform for small businesses to make a living via Etsy's marketplace.
I've had my fair share of coming and going from the platform due to not wanting to deal with all the changes that keeps happening. Despite all their flaws with many bots, scammers, and drop shippers infesting the Etsy marketplace, there are still genuine artists & crafters who still exist in the space. Whether it is to gain more traffic to their business or if there's no other place these artists can turn to. Etsy is, unfortunately, still a viable space to earn some sort of living.
I'm currently in the middle of rebuilding my Etsy shop to open up my business to EU shoppers. As a small business owner, there is a limit to how much I am capable of doing by myself. Because the UK made it very difficult to do business internationally, Etsy is truly the only answer I have at this time, in order to open my business to the residents in EU & UK.
