First and foremost, I'm a HUGE fan of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online game, it's really the only game that I play at this point.
The latest Dawntrail Benchmark Update marks the first time in history the developers had to make an update to their benchmark for any reason.
I'll always applaud the team's dedication to always listen to the community's opinions and their frustrations. Although they can't please everyone, they do their best to satisfy the community's best interest that's good for the game.
The latest Benchmark Update shows how much they're listening to the community when the initial release was, apparently, a flop. I'm no stranger to the basics of Gpose, but those with a keener eye in the art of Gposing found disturbing details that didn't fit right with the description from what Yoshi-P had shared in several PLLs since the FFXIV Fan Fest in NA.
After seeing the comparisons of the v1.0 Benchmark versus the v1.1 Benchmark, the update to the in-game lighting makes such a significant difference. Looking at my Warrior of Light (WoL), she looks much more natural than before and seeing my WoL in-game currently, I'm very excited for the release of Dawntrail!
